Description: An incredible pair of plastics that has exceptionally low coefficient of friction which offers superb sliding and can out-perform almost any engineering plastic for abrasion resistance.
HDPE: High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is prepared from ethylene by a catalytic process. HDPE is also harder and more opaque than PP and it can withstand rather higher temperatures (120° C for short periods, 110°C continuously).
UHMWPE: UHMW-PE (Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene) is an extremely tough and abrasion resistant thermoplastic that is used for applications that require durability and/or abrasive wear resistance.
